All the glasses available in our stores are shipped within 48 working hours from the date the order is sent.
If the items are not available in stock, the shipping times will be communicated via email. The times are indicative and may vary depending on availability at our reference supplier.
The published prices include VAT both for the countries belonging to the European Union and for abroad.
Shipping costs for the destination location must be added to the price of the item.
Shipping costs for Italy are free.
Taxes and customs
Deliveries to countries outside the European Union may be subject to taxes and customs duties; these taxes do not depend on OtticaMauro, but on the customs of the country of destination.
Any tax and any customs charges are at the expense of the buyer.
OtticaMauro cannot know in advance any taxes and customs duties as they vary from country to country. For information, we recommend contacting the local customs authority or Fedex, UPS or DHL customer service in your country.
These fees paid by the buyer are collected by the courier upon delivery of the package or requested later.
Art Ottica by Ettore Mauro guarantees the quality and authenticity of the products sold.
All glasses are accompanied by the safety and quality certificate required by European legislation (DL n ° 46 of 24/02/1997 DM n ° 180 of 04/05/1998) and, where required, by the certificate of authenticity and originality of the product released by the manufacturer.
All products are guaranteed 24 months from the date of purchase against any manufacturing defect. In the event of proven malfunction of the item, the warranty may include replacement or repair of the same.
Damages caused by bad or improper use are not guaranteed.
Please note that Art Ottica by Ettore Mauro is not responsible for direct or indirect damage to people or things resulting from the malfunction of the products.
By confirming the order, you accept the above conditions of sale.
The guarantee of conformity of the products sold by Art Ottica di Ettore Mauro in favour of the Consumer is provided by virtue of the rules contained in Legislative Decree no. 206 of 6 September 2005 (Consumer Code) on guarantees in the sale of consumer goods. Art Ottica di Ettore Mauro provides the official warranty for 24 months from the date of purchase. The Consumer loses the right to enforce the above mentioned warranty if he does not report the conformity defect within 2 months from its discovery. The warranty is valid for the following defects:
- the product does not correspond to the agreement;
- the product does not possess the essential characteristics;
- the product does not correspond to the usual use and quality;
Art Ottica di Ettore Mauro will not be liable for any damage that may result from bad use or wear, manipulation or unprofessional installation. The warranty does not apply in case of factors unrelated to the normal use of the product, such as falls, fire or incorrect or abusive use by the customer or third parties not authorized by the manufacturer. The warranty is also excluded for defects that were already known to the Customer at the time of purchase.
It is the Customer's responsibility, before returning a non-conforming item, and in order to enforce the warranty, to agree, also by e-mail, on how to return and deliver the product. Art Ottica di Ettore Mauro undertakes to indicate to the Customer the place and method of shipment of the product. Once the Product has been received, it will be checked and, if the conformity defect is found, the repaired product or the replacement one will be sent to the Customer.
If, as a result of the inspection, the product is not affected by a lack of conformity, the Customer will be informed about the costs necessary for its repair or replacement. The Customer will be charged the costs related to the transport of the products that do not present conformity defects. In case of notification of a lack of conformity, the Customer will be promptly contacted to inform him and, if necessary, propose the replacement of the defective product with alternative products of equivalent or higher value and quality.

Our customer service is active from Monday to Friday from h. 9.00 to 19.00 and Saturday from h. 9.00 am to h. 12.00 (Central Europe time) excluding national holidays. The closure of the offices will be notified in advance.
